Preparation Beats Speed is more than a phrase — it’s a principle.
I first heard these words in 2021, and they have shaped my perspective ever since.
The weight of this truth is undeniable.
Preparation anchors us. It teaches that we don’t need to rush blindly
or chase speed at all costs. True readiness makes speed unnecessary
because when opportunity comes, the prepared are already positioned.
This is why the world often labels prepared people as “lucky.”
But luck is simply the meeting point between preparation and opportunity.
Preparation Beats Speed is not a slogan; it’s a lifestyle —
a discipline that applies to every area of life.
The Purpose of Barbering (POB) Community was born out of this conviction. T
he revelation of preparation over speed inspired me to establish the organization,
and today it is transforming lives. And this is only the beginning.
When this principle becomes part of your mindset, it reshapes how you live.
It influences decisions, restores focus, and keeps you aligned with purpose.
To carry such an insight is both a responsibility and a privilege,
because not everyone answers the call of preparation.
So here is my challenge to you:
Pause. Reflect. Ask yourself — are you truly preparing for the future you desire,
or are you simply rushing to keep up?
Because in the end, preparation will always outlast speed.
